MRI Shielding

A MRI cage or MRI shield is an enclosure formed by conducting material or by a mesh of such material. Such an enclosure blocks external static and non-static electric fields. Shielding is typically applied to enclosures to isolate electrical devices from the 'outside world', and to cables to isolate wires from the environment through which the cable runs. Electromagnetic shielding that blocks radio frequency electromagnetic radiation is also known as RF shielding.

Types Of Radio Frequency Shielding Preferred by Frank Shields :-

Frank shields design, manufacture custom designed modular Galvanized steel MRI shield rooms that can be easily installed. The panels are fabricated at our factory and also assembled prior to dispatch of the product to ensure the installation goes smooth at site. These panels are bolts together with stainless steel mesh. The air intake uses our custom design air ventilation system that provides smooth airflow at the same time meets the necessary shield specification and above. The doors and view window are designed and manufactured by Frank Shields and meets the acoustic and RF attenuation values beyond the required values set by the MRI manufacturers.
